Don't Apologize

Some speakers tend to apologize to the audience when they are not well prepared.
We are in the opinion we should not apologize as it doesn't enhance the credibility of the speaker.

Be Early

We recommend that speaker or presenter be at the venue at least 15 minutes before the speaking time.
For cases where we need to setup the equipments, be there at least 30 minutes before the speaking time.

3Ps of Public Speaking

P1 - Prepare : It is very important to prepare our speech or presentation. Once we have been given the topic and time allowed, we should start to prepare our materials.

P2 - Practice : It is definitely necessary to rehearse our speech or presentation.

P3 - Present : Some of us might feel so nervous that we find reason or excuse not to present the speech.
